Don't forget to vote tomorrow!

Here are the YouTube videos with the school referendum tour again, in case you missed them the first time.

If you are unsure where to vote, here is a map showing Shorewood polling places, by ward.

1-enrollment is declining

2-if the schools lose any part of the 220 program the taxpayers will have paid for something that will not be used.

3-wake up!enrollment without 220 is on the decline and the answer is to close a school-consolidate adminisration and tighten up-this is a white elephant on the taxpayers and mcann fails to tighten things up.

4-no business manager for how many yrs?there have been many mistakes and the budget has been over $300,000 or more the last 2 yrs.d2d is short and will need general funds-people pledged and have not paid $500,000 in pledges-who is going to pay after referendum?you will the taxpayers.

it is time to face the music in this currant economic climate-tighten up mcann!

there have been more adminastrators hired in the last 2 yrs-when will it end?

THE TAXPAYERS HAVE HAD ENOUGH!WE ARE NO 2 IN THIS TAX HELL-SOON TO BE NO.1 OVER WEST MILWAUKEE-

VOTE NO AND END THE INSANITY!!!!!

I voted for the referendum mainly because of 1) a maintenance budget, which was LONG overdue (a stitch in time, you know), and 2) changes to the schools that involve improved safety (lower liability costs?) and lower energy costs (although I wish that had been a bigger portion of the plan). For me, this represents movement in the right direction.

I don't understand the comment about the schools not using what we'll be paying for--there's been discussion of SIS closing but the renovations covered in the referendum don't involve the SIS building but the high school, which is not going to close due to low enrollment.
