Guns drawn in Lake Drive police incident

Passers-by are reporting seeing Shorewood Police Officers on the east side of Lake Drive this morning with their weapons drawn.  According to the account, two officers were pointing their weapons at a man lying face down on the ground.

I've asked around this entire week and no one seems to know anything re: this incident! ~shrug~ The fact that you say 'passerS-by', in the plural, makes this even stranger!

It appears this incident may have taken place in Milwaukee.  I asked Chief B about it, and he has no record of it in Shorewood.

Shorewood homeowner   

I am leaving a comment here because your blog appears to be the only source of such news in the area. Apparently, there was a burglary in the 1800 block of Jarvis last night that had a large police response on our block of Wood Place including a canine unit. I called the Shorewood P.D. and they gave me some information but was hoping the incident would be reported somewhere. Thanks.
