Parading our Girl Scouts Around Town!

By St. Mary Parish School
Tuesday, Nov 27 2007, 08:11 AM

Forty-five St. Mary Girl Scouts marched in the Menomonee Falls Christmas Parade on Sunday. Following the parade theme of Bows, Lights, and Ornaments, our girls each carried a red bow and looked very festive in the process! All of our Daisy Scouts, and some of our older girls, rode in style, waving from their coveted seat on the sleigh that Mr. Patterson made for us last year.

Many of the parents and leaders were happy that the weather cooperated, as it was one of the warmer Christmas parades we have marched in during recent years. It is a long-standing tradition to have the St. Mary Girl Scouts march in this parade, and it is always a highlight to hear our parishioners and school families shouting YEAH ST. MARY! from the sidewalks!  We are so proud of our school, and are happy to march thru the streets of our community, letting everyone know!
