President Bush's senior national-security advisers are debating whether to expand the authority of the CIA and the military to conduct far more aggressive covert operations in the tribal areas of Pakistan.

Tough call on this one.  The video definately speaks to the complexity of the issue on that side of the Pakistani/Afghan border.  Unfortunately, Bhutto's assassination put us in an even worse position than what we were in for the last 6 years.  Kind of sheds light on why it was so important to get these guys while they were still in Afghanistan 5 years ago doesn't it?  We don't want to get into that again though.  Just an observation.

The assassination of Bhutto, unfortunately, will have long term effects on every aspect of the war on terror.

No, we don't want to get into Afghanistan again.  At least not today.  I'm too tired from the weekend-battle on our own soil.
