In the Race

Now, here, you see, it takes all the blogging I can do to keep in the same place.
If I want to get somewhere else, I must blog twice as fast as that!
You see, I'm in the Red Queen's Race...

But preferably, learn ENGLISH!

Yeah, I'm at it again.

This time I went to the ATM and a new message popped up.

I guess it's been a few weeks since I've been to the ATM at my bank in the Franklin Business Park.

Surprise!

If you want to read this in English...blah, blah, blah.....

Once again I have to do an extra step to do something in my own native language.

I rarely go to Southridge Mall.

Remember me?  Shop online....

I walked into Sears this weekend and it was reminiscent of being at Epcot Center at Disney World.

I could hardly find anyone speaking English and all the signs are bilingual.

Alright.

That's my rant for today.

Excuse me, but I'm going to go practice my Dutch now.

Here's a word in Dutch.... gewetenloos

I saw that word used on another blog by the Chairman of the committee that chose the name "Boomgaard District" for 27th St.

In English is means unscrupulous.

He used it twice.

Hi Janet,

I think we share the same bank.

I was surprised when I had to press another button to continue in english the other day.

It's an extra step I don't think we should have to take.

(I'll talk to my contact at the bank; a family friend, {the bank president] .)

Off topic ... but ... LOST is getting really good lately.

Hi, Clem,

Yeah, I almost had to use the braille function on that ATM last year since the screen was so faded.  Finally I had to go ask them to PLEASE change the screen.  That's another one that always gave me a smile -braille on the ATM.

You're right...and I'm still so LOST...more questions...so few answers.
