Your Library card number and PIN (Personal Identification Number) are used to access your personal Library account. From this account, you can check item due dates, renew materials, place reserves, check on the status of reserves, create a reading history, freeze holds, and a variety of other convenient functions.

To create a PIN in CountyCat, enter your library barcode (14 digits), leave the PIN area blank and click SUBMIT. If there is no PIN assigned to your record, you will be able to create one at this point. PIN should be at least 4 digits long. If you are unable to create a PIN, this probably means you have an existing PIN that needs to be removed. Contact the Library to have your PIN reset.
