The Greendale Public Library now offers Playaway audio books!

Greendale Public Library is happy to announce that we are now offering a new audio book option called Playaway. Playaways are self-contained digital audio books that can be checked out for three weeks.
Half the size of a deck of cards, Playaway ebooks are convenient and portable. Listen to a Playaway on your daily commute, while exercising, or just relaxing.
Playaways are also technologically simple and easy to use. The units have a universal headphone jack that will accommodate most headphones, earbuds or portable speakers.
Users can purchase earbuds for $1.00 at the Library’s Check Out Desk, or use their own. Users must supply one AAA battery that powers the Playaway unit.
