"This music has no expiration date"

This past week marked the 10th anniversary of the death of Frank Sinatra.

In my opinion, it’s disheartening that the milestone didn’t get more attention.

However, it is very encouraging that because of his legend and great body of work, there are stars of today and future up and comers that will strive to keep the man and his music alive.

What I love the best is that you can say Elvis, Dean or Frank and people know exactly who you are talking about.  The one thing I would have loved to have seen would have been one of those live performances by the Rat Pack at The Sands.  FYI, Frank's new album "Nothing But The Best"  is #6 in iTunes.

Apollo, if I'm not mistaken, there is a live CD of Frank at the old Sands with the Count Basie Orchestra. I'm not sure about the Rat Pack at the Sands, but that wuld be a keeper.

But you are so right. You mention just the first name of these guys and a million memories instantly come to mind.

Much like Fabian.

Ok. Scratch that.
