On Saturday, September 15, Village of Shorewood residents and guests enjoyed all the great reasons to live, work and shop in Shorewood during the second annual “Showcase Shorewood” event.
From fine art and fine crafts created by local talent, to sidewalk sales, musical entertainment and a business expo, the Shorewood business district showcased all the great reasons to Shop Shorewood: Spend the Day!

- The Shorewood School District, for letting us use their property to stage the fine art and craft fair and business expo.
- Northshore Funeral Services and the Shorewood Men’s Club for sponsoring the trolley rides.
- North Shore Fire Department for lending their fire trucks and detailed explanations about fire-fighting equipment and fire safety.
- The Shorewood Police Department for sponsoring McGruff, the crime-fighting dog.
- Culver’s Restaurant for sponsoring our balloon artist, Sparkles the Clown.

HOLIDAY SHOPWALK NEXT ON THE CALENDAR!
Get ready for our next special event, the annual Holiday Shopwalk on Saturday, December 1. The day will include:
- Complimentary trolley rides from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. along Oakland Ave. and Capitol Dr.
- Opportunities to register to win a variety of gift certificates donated by village businesses.
- Special offers and complimentary refreshments available at select merchants.
- Strolling carolers
- A visit from Santa from 12-3 p.m. at Gilda’s Club Southeastern Wisconsin, 4050 N. Oakland Ave.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION - ICE-CARVING EXHIBITION
